Attorney Kathleen Kienitz conducted a do-it-yourself advanced directives session at the Andy Valley Senior Expo which was held at the Hilton Garden Inn in Auburn in June. She also conducted a session at the Auburn Parks and Recreation Facility on financial abuse and scams.
Kathleen Kienitz is pleased to announce that Mia Poliquin Pross, Esq. has joined the firm as associate attorney. She has years of experience in finance, health insurance, social policy, and advocacy on behalf of health care consumers. Kathleen Kienitz will be a presenter at the Elder Law & Estate Planning Institute to be held at the Augusta Civic Center, May 5-6, which will be featuring nationally known expert on retirement benefits, Natalie Choate. Ms. Kienitz’s topic will be on the use of Supplemental Needs Trusts in planning for people receiving disability benefits.
